Fall Revival: October 25-30

Our Speakers

Norman and Debbie Stevens Revival meetingsDebbie accepted Jesus Christ as her own personal Savior at the age of 22. They have one daughter, named Cheryl, and she too is saved. She is now married, and they have two grandsons, named Justin Webster and Logan Webster.

Norman was born in the city of Bellefonte, Kentucky, on March 23, 1957. At the age of 10, his family moved to Florida where he grew up in a home that was not centered upon God. He explains that he lived his life not seeking God, with no desire to know Him. At the age of 15, he was working as a sign painter. After they married, and at the age of 22, they started their own sign company.

It was not until Norman's Dad died, at the age of 72, that he began to realize the brevity of life. Shortly after his father's death, their daughter invited Norman to a revival meeting where he realized, for the very first time, that he was a sinner and in need of a Savior, and that he could not save myself. Norman received Jesus Christ as his own personal Savior in 1987 at the age of 30.

Norman was baptized while attending Providence Baptist Church in Riverview, Florida. His anchor for eternal life is based solely upon the Word of God. Shortly after his conversion, Norman states God began speaking to his heart, through the Word of God, about full-time service for Him. He went back to school and completed his High School diploma in 1990. He went on to complete an Associates Degree in the Bible in 1992. Five years after his conversion, God called he and his family to Ambassador Baptist College for further training, completing his Bachelor's degree on May 3, 1996.

They believe all of these opportunities served well to prepare them for the ministry God had for them in evangelism. Upon graduation, they made our home in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. When they are not in meetings, they serve the Lord in and through Emmanuel Baptist Church in Kings Mountain, North Carolina.

The Stevens' believe in the ministry of the local church. They also believe that, if anything is going to be done for Christ, it will be done in and through the local church. They have the privilege of traveling to various fundamental, independent Baptist churches at home and around the world. It is their desire to share Christ and help pastors at home and abroad through the ministry of evangelism.
