The Lord called Mr. Ingram to preach as a teenager just out of high school in his hometown of Statesville, NC. He was thankful he had a godly pastor who encouraged him to prepare for the ministry. In August 1990, he enrolled in Ambassador Baptist College in Shelby, NC, a college founded by Evangelist Ron Comfort.

Upon graduation, Mr. Billy Ingram married his sweetheart, Christy Poole, of Ocala, FL, and they entered the ministry full time as a youth pastor.  During his three years as youth pastor, Mr. Ingram believed the Lord dealt with him about the need for evangelists, and he surrendered to God's call to go into full-time evangelism.

The Lord guided Mr. Ingram and his wife to Falls Baptist Church, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin to further prepare for the ministry of evangelism under the leadership of Pastor Wayne Van Gelderen Jr.  While Mr. Ingram pursued a Master's Degree, he and his wife travelled for a couple of years with Minutemen Ministries, a youth evangelistic ministry. In 2004, they entered into full-time evangelism.

For the past six years, Billy Ingram and is wife have been in full-time evangelism, conducting meetings at local churches across the United States and in several other countries, including Spain, Ireland, the Bahamas and the Fiji Islands.

They state that "With joy unspeakable and full glory, we travel full time to share the Word of God in revival meetings in churches wherever God leads us."
