The A.C.T. for our youth group, stands for Active Christian Teens. We strive to be active in sharing the Gospel and Christ’s love with those in our church, community and around the world by reaching out through various ministries or services. Our goal is to show our faith in action! Our ministry groups demonstrate that purpose each week. The following is a list and description of our available ministry groups. The groups are primarily active on Wednesday nights; however, we are ready and available whenever a need may arise. Individuals from these teams also assist on Sunday mornings in the Toddler, Primary and Junior Church ministries.

Current Ministry Teams:

• Drama Ministry Team-uses puppets, skits and longer dramatic productions for special events or Teen Service nights.

• Soldiers For Christ Ministry Team-assists the leaders in the Soldiers For Christ program with listening to and helping memorization of Scripture passages, as well as the games and music.

• Nursing Home Ministry Team-goes to the local nursing home or elderly assisted living center to talk, sing, play games, and bring devotions to the residents.

• Missions Ministry Team-writes letters to our foreign missionaries, helps with Scripture assembly for the Print Shop Ministry, and learns the basics in missionary service.

• Vocal and Hand Chime Ministry Ensemble-practices skits, vocal arrangements and hand chime music for special events, Teen Service nights, nursing homes, and travel to area-wide churches.

• Shut-In/Elderly Ministry Team-visits the homes of our elderly, shut-in or physically disabled members to assist with yard work, fellowship or other various odd jobs as needed.
